I mailed to Laura at Mugglenet. She’s the one who handles the mistakes section. I wanted to post the mistake I had spotted on Mugglenet. First I checked al the rules of posting mistakes and following them I spent so much time in writing the e-mail. But several weeks have passed and there’s no reply and the mistake has not been posted there. So this is the cause of disappointment. But I’m impressed because they have spotted another interesting mistake in Deathly Hallows. “The elder wand is supposed to be unbeatable. But Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald who had the elder wand.”

I’m disappointed…but impressed.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags books, deathly hallows, mistakes on 11th August, 2008 by Shaarang GuptaHey doesn’t Hermione say in Deathly Hallows that you cannot produce food out of thin air? Yep she does!…But in Chamber of Secrets Prof. McGonagall does make food appear out of thin air. Harry and Ron are caught by Snape(after they crash into the whomping willow) and then he calls Dumbledore and McGonagall. Then there’s a bit of scolding and they decide to give Harry and Ron a detention. Then everyone returns to the feast and McGonagall says that Harry and Ron will eat in Snape’s office itself and suddenly a platter of sandwiches and a large jug of pumpkin juice appears on the table. The plate keeps refilling itself. Is McGonagall such a powerful witch that her magic is beyond fundamental laws of Transfiguration?
